Openings at Ajitgarh

  1. Selection for the posts at Serial No. 1 to 5 will be done through interview, the date and time for which shall be announced later on, on the website of the Centre. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates.
  2. Selection for the post of Serial No. 6 (District Project Manager) will be done through a written test (70% in Computer Science and 30% General Aptitude) followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates. The date and time for the written test and interview shall be announced later on, on the website of the Centre. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates.
  3. Separate application form is to be filled in for each post.
  4. Bank draft of Rs 500/- is to be drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR, NIELIT CHANDIGARH” payable at Chandigarh only.

Persons having done regular courses and having handled e-Governance Projects

  • Ensure achievement of e-Panchayat (Mission mode Project) MMP milestones and deliverables (technical and managerial) in the State as per timelines and report to State Project Dir, ePAnchayat, Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) and National Project Management Unit (NPMU).

  • Rollout of PES and state specific applications & facilitating their adoption in the state.

  • Liaison with the Central e-Panchayat team (CPMU) at MoPR and District Project Management Unit at Districts and ensure that all issues and requirements are either resolved by state Technical Consultants or forward them (pertaining to Panchayat enterprise Suite (PES) applications) to the respective Program Managers at NPMU.

  • Update, Refine, validate and implement the State (Detailed Project Report) DPR.

  • Firm up State BPR and draft GOs (Govt order) for line departments.

  • Oversee Bid-process management, Vendor Selection and Contract Management.

  • Review and ensure timely Submission of monthly progress report from District Coordinators to State.

  • Organize meetings, trainings and workshops etc. on PES applications.

Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time.

Accounts Consultant / Ajitgarh (Mohali)

MBA (Finance) / with minimum 60% marks and experience of 3 years of working in IT driven Accounts Consultancy Projects or CA with minimum 3 yrs of experience in company finances or Government Sector, in IT driven Accounts Consultancy Projects. Working Knowledge of Punjabi

 

Persons having done regular course

  •  Assist, guide and support the State in the implementation of Model Accounting System(MAS) and PRIASoft for local bodies

  • To coordinate with the State Attorney General (AG), Finance Dept. (FD) and other Agencies for resolving issues relating to Chart of Accounts and classification under MAS/PRIASoft.

  • Address all other issues of PRIASoft in the rollout of e-Panchayat and ensure all accounts in local bodies are in sync with the Model Accounting System.

  • Assess Convergence/mapping of local accounting software's with PRIASoft.

Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time.

Technology Consultant

  • Handling technical functions of the PES applications and Identification of functional requirements for existing applications.

  • Understanding of Software Development and Testing Tools required for applications and customization of e-Panchayat.

  • Serve as a Technical Helpdesk for State and provide trainings.

  • Provide inputs to Project Supervisor in preparing FRS and SRS and on various technology, standards and their evaluation.

  • Translation of various Panchayat Applications content in local language as per need.

  • Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time

Application Managers / Ajitgarh (Mohali)

Persons having done regular courses and having worked on e-Governance Projects

  •  each one will monitor 3-4 applications (i.e. PRIAsoft, National Panchayat Portal, Actionsoft, Local Govt. Directory, etc)

  • Provide support with respect to PES applications and State specific applications and coordinate with the Project Manager for operational issues and their resolution.

  • Visit Districts and Blocks periodically to find out issues in rollout of e-Panchayat and new requirements in PES and State-Specific applications and resolve them in consultation with State Technical Consultant.

  • Organize trainings, providing Handholding support in and serve as a helpdesk for all issues related his his/her applications.

  • Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time.

Office Assistant / Ajitgarh (Mohali)

Graduate with PGDCA with two years experience. High Level working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, Knowledge of Typing in English and Punjabi, Must have passed Matric with Punjabi as one of the Subject.

Persons having done regular courses

  • Manage routine office activities such as file maintenance disposal of office correspondence Matter in a time bound manner etc.

  • Support to the SPMU team in their day to day operations

  • Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time.

District Project Manager / one each in different Districts of Punjab

Persons having done regular courses and having worked on e-Governance Projects

  •  One per District will coordinate between the State & each District in running the applications. Provide support with respect to PES applications and State specific applications in the district and coordinate with the State programmer for operational issues and their resolution.

  • Visit Blocks and Gram Panchayats periodically to find out issues in rollout of e-Panchayat and new requirements in PES and State-Specific applications and resolve them in consultation with State Technical Consultant.

  • Organize trainings, providing Handholding support in all local bodies under his district and serve as a helpdesk for all local the district.

  • Monitor the commissioning of computers and internet connectivity in local bodies under his district.

  • Any other task related to e-Panchayat assigned from time to time.
